The story of the label, from Julianna, community manager at Botnia

My hope is that this oil painting that encases our hydrosol inspires the feelings of magic that the holidays can bring. My painting for this label was created with an eco-friendly paint line (Natural Earth Paint) that is much like creating a Botnia facial with raw botanicals. The oil paints are a mixture of earth pigments sustainability harvested from small, family owned businesses, with refined walnut oil rather than traditional toxic oils. Much like slow skincare, this process takes more time and patience, which for me is part of the beauty and fun of creating something special.

I hope each time you spray your juniper hydrosol, you feel transported as you nurture your beautiful skin.

What could feel more magical than a winter’s snowy scene: the scent of juniper trees surrounds you, engulfing you in their bounty of thousands of years of existence on this earth. The air is so crisp and clear that each star lights up the sky with a twinkling eye.The night is so silent and calm that your thoughts start to mimic its stillness, allowing you to be fully present in the moment. The snow on top of the earth beneath you feels soft and sturdy at the same time, making you feel completely grounded. You feel the magic that lights up the night sky, moves with you in the cool breeze, and soothes every cell in your body. This is the magic of juniper hydrosol.
